If you drive in mode 1, it shifts at 2500 rpm, so I'm sure mpg depends on how low of rpms you shift at too. I don't floor it to redline usually, I usually drive in sequential mode 5 generally shifting at 3000-3500 rpm with a couple overtake slow car in front of me manuevers on the freeway each day, and I've been getting average 19-20mpg (I just take my miles driven per tank divided by number of gallons filled up at gas station). My commute one way is 30 miles with 4 miles of that being streets. Mine is an smg II, I drive mostly highway and little traffic driving at 65-80mph depending on if there are cars in front of me, if no cars then I cruise at 80mph, and I usually have 1-2 passengers (I carpool to work) so that affects mpg a little for the worse.
